List and numbers of all Spaniards in Kona 2016

In total 42 representatives of our country in the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii

We started the "Kona Special 2016 Triathlon News ”with the list of all Spaniards (*) who will participate in the World Cup Hawaii IronmanIn total there will be 41 national representatives, 4 PROS and 37 GGEE, being one of the most numerous participations in history.

In the PRO category they will compete Eneko Llanos (dorsal 6), Ivan Raña (dorsal 44), Gurutze Frades (dorsal 107) and Saleta Castro (dorsal 134).

As for the age groups, the women will be represented in five groups by five different triathletes, with Sara Sánchez (18-24) being the youngest and Carmen Gil Brahim (40-44) the oldest.

As for the male category, there will also be representation in five age groups, for the first time in several years, all Spaniards will be "sub" 50 years, that is, there will be no one competing in category 50-54 and above. Finally, mention that the most numerous age group will be in 40-44 with 10 representatives.  

(*) NOTE: There may be some more Spanish competing in Hawaii, at the time of making the list we have based on the official website of Ironman, but sometimes there is usually an error and appear triathletes with the wrong nationality.
