Lucy Charles to 1 second to win the Ho'ola Swim, will seek the segment record in Kona

As usual every year one week before the Hawaii Ironman, the Ho'ala IRONMAN Training Swim has been held

La Training Swim  It has a route that is practically the same as in the World Championship. This test is used to know the best swimmers that will mark differences in the test.

The best swimmer has been Josh Amberger ahead Lucy Charles for just 1 second. Lucy was first in her category and third overall last year where she achieved a time of 0:48:48 which means that she has improved 1:39 compared to 2017. These two swimmers have started 30 seconds ahead of Braden Currie  third place

We will all be expectant to see if Lucy Charles will be able to break the swimming record this year, since last year she did not achieve it for only a few seconds and it seems that she is in a great state of form to achieve it. The record is set at 48: 43 by Jodie Jackson at 1999
