In this test Miquel will look for his second classification for Kona.

We have spoken with the triathlete Miquel Blanchart to ask you how has the preparation been forl Bolton Ironman, its main objective of the year.

"Bolton is going to be the main goal of the year. The hardness of the test is one of its characteristics, the cold water in Pennington Flash, the bike with a difference in level that exceeds the 2.000 meters of positive height difference and two climbs to the Sheep House Lane, the unevenness of the running on foot and the weather does not favors competition due to the high probability of rain during the race.

My main objective is to try get the highest number KPR points and be at the top of the podium, we must take advantage of it is a second row test and the big ones probably do not participate in the test and this makes the dream of Kona a little more within reach.

In case the test goes well and I qualify for kona, I would prepare the test thoroughly and if it does not go well I would go to the Mastrich Ironman where it would be the last opportunity to qualify for the Ironman World Championship.

I have prepared it very well, I'm better than ever, although the heat has taken its toll, as it coincided with the part of the season with more load, but I hope to recover well and be in full condition on the day of the test."

The Ironman of Bolton, will be played this next 16 of July with exit to the 6: 00 Am
