Jan Frodeno, Frederick Van Lierde and Ivan Raña favorites at the Ironman 70.3 Barcelona

Once again, one of the most international events on the Spanish medium-distance calendar arrives, the Ironman 70.3 in Barcelona, ​​with a great start list in both the men's and women's categories.

This next Sunday 21 of May will be played in the city of Calella Ironman 70.3 from Barcelona with more than 2.500 triathletes in competition 

In the men's category the main favorites are the reigning world champion Ironman the German Jan Frodeno, the winner of last year in Calella the Swedish Patrick Nilssonthe Belgian Frederik Van Lierde, the Ukrainian Viktor Zyemtserv e Ivan Raña. Female start list

The competition will start the 7: 00 with the male PRO exit, two minutes later the women will do it and then the age groups. The race consists of swimming 1900m in the Mediterranean Sea with departure and arrival at the beach of Calella. Later cycling is 90km around a loop through a circuit closed to traffic to finish with 21km running on foot running through the Mediterranean Sea and turning in Pineda de Mar.
