Terenzo Bozzone goes down for the IRONMAN Kona

It would have been his sixth participation in the test.

The New Zealand trialteta, Terenzo Bozzone has announced that will not participate in the IRONMAN of Hawaii since he suffers an injury to the Achilles tendon.

One of the most beloved triathletes on the international scene will not be on the starting line, in which he would have been his sixth participation in the event.

Bozzone, suffered a accident last year while training in New Zealand, leaving him semi unconscious. He kept him away from the competition until the end of November where he won the IM 70.3 Sydney  and then get your pass to Kona in the IRONMAN Australia with a time of 7: 56: 00.

In social networks I commented

"I have bad news. I will not travel to Kona this week to compete in the IRONMAN World Championship due to an Achilles injury that I still have.

He is not well enough to run with the boys at a competitive pace.

I am very disappointed not to be running. I wish everyone who has the best of luck. "
