I am disappointed that the driver of the vehicle that collided with me and caused the serious injuries that I am facing has not been presented to the police.

In addition, police said today that they found no evidence to prove that a truck was involved in the accident, after completing their investigations. An eyewitness reported seeing a truck at the scene of the accident.

However, although I do not remember the accident, I am sure that another vehicle was involved.

You do not break a bicycle as expensive as mine in two pieces, and you suffer the types of injuries I have when I fall. I've been in this sport since almost 20 years, so I think I'm a very experienced cyclist.

Therefore, it is disappointing that the person who hit me has not stopped to help me and then informed him.

But I can not change that. At this moment my attention is focused on improving and little by little I return to training. This week I finally have no more harmful effects of my head injuries.

There are still two weeks to get the cable out of my hand, although I guess I'll make the airport alarms sound with the titanium plates in my face.

I want to thank the police for their hard work and I have only crossed my fingers now that I can return to the sport at the highest level again
