Tim Don returns to the distance Ironman 9 months after his accident

The triathlete has announced that he will participate in the next Ironman Hamburg the 29 of July, 9 months after his accident

Tim Don, you are ready to compete in the long distance at the highest level, after having achieved victory in the Ironman 70.3 Costa Rica Last June, the British triathlete announced on social networks that he will compete in the Ironman of Hamburg this next 29 for July.

They have only passed 9 months since he was hit by a car just two days before the 2017 Ironman World Championship in Hawaii, suffering a broken neck, and spent three months in recovery.

The British athlete is one of the best in the specialty where he was ITU world champion in 2006 (the last time there was a podium without Spaniards), he has the best mark of the Ironman franchise with 7: 40: 23 achieved in the IM of Brazil last year, and is the current bronze world in Ironman 70.3
