Tim Don returns to compete in triathlon at Ironman 70.3 Costa Rica

Only 8 months after his accident, the British athlete is ready to participate in an Ironman 70.3

The British triathlete Tim Don has confirmed its participation in the Ironman 70.3 Costa Rica, where Iván Raña also appears as registered.

As Tim confirmed us in a interview, has chosen the month of June to return to compete in Triathlon and has chosen the Ironman 70.3 Costa Rica that the next June 24 will be played.

Tim, already returned to the competition in the Boston Marathon, where in a race that was marked by bad weather conditions with a lot of wind and cold.

The British athlete is one of the best of the specialty where have you gone ITU world champion in 2006 (the last time there has been a podium without Spaniards), has the best mark of the Ironman franchise with 7: 40: 23 achieved in the IM of Brazil last year, and is the current bronze world in Ironman 70.3

The professional triathlete was hit by a car just two days before the 2017 Ironman World Championship in Hawaii, suffering a broken neck, and spent three months in recovery.
