Only 8 months after his accident, the British athlete is ready to participate in an Ironman 70.3

The British triathlete Tim Don is ready for the return to competition in half distance in the Ironman 70.3 Costa Rica

As Tim confirmed us in a interview, has chosen the month of June to return to compete in Triathlon and has chosen the Ironman 70.3 Costa Rica to be played tomorrow 24 June.

Tim, already returned to the competition in the Boston Marathon, where in a race that was marked by bad weather conditions with a lot of wind and cold.

The British athlete is one of the best in the specialty where he was ITU world champion in 2006 (the last time there was a podium without Spaniards), he has the best mark of the Ironman franchise with 7: 40: 23 achieved in the IM of Brazil last year, and is the current bronze world in Ironman 70.3

The professional triathlete was hit by a car just two days before the 2017 Ironman World Championship in Hawaii, suffering a broken neck, and spent three months in recovery.
