Chris Nikic is a great athlete. The first person with Down Syndrome to finish an Ironman.

His story truly inspires anyone, both in sport and in life. So as soon as I had the opportunity to travel to the US (to Challenge Daytona) and thanks to Banco Santander, I drove to Orlando the morning after the race to spend the day with Chris and his family and accompany him in his training, before returning to Spain.

I have to say I had a great time, Chris is a true phenomenon, a legend.

Thank you very much Chris for sharing with me your daily routines, workouts, stories and laughs!

It continues to be an inspiration to so many.
