ASICS launches the SUPERBLAST™ 2 shoe, redesigned by Lucy Charles-Barclay

Renowned sports brand ASICS has launched a new collection designed by the prominent British triathlete Lucy Charles-Barclay, who has inspired and actively participated in the redesign of the SUPERBLAST™ 2 shoe, as well as the creation of high-performance sportswear.

This collection, created under the name “La Sirena”, has been developed to help runners reach new physical and mental depths, reflecting the athlete’s resilient spirit.

The SUPERBLAST™ 2 is presented as an improved and visually stunning version of its predecessor.

The sneakers feature iridescent stripes that evoke fish scales, a nod to the nickname Lucy Charles-Barclay, which he earned for his outstanding swimming skills.

The pearlescent purple of the midsole and the laces engraved with the phrase “Never Give Up” underline the fighting spirit of the triathlete, who has overcome numerous adversities in her career, including a serious injury that temporarily sidelined her from competition.

This redesign is not only intended to improve performance, but also to motivate those who use them to face challenges with the same determination as Lucy Charles-Barclay.

In addition to the sneakers, the capsule collection includes other products such as the METARUN shorts, top and vest, all designed to provide maximum comfort and freedom of movement, ideal for sportswomen looking for high-performance clothing without sacrificing style.
