At the same time, as activity monitor, it provides information about the steps, the distance traveled, the calories burned and, of course, the time. It also advises the user when to start up after a period of inactivity or monitor sleep hours. All this can be visualized in its different configurable screens.

In the water, invincible
On the water, Garmin Forerunner® 920XT is an all-rounder that offers maximum functionality. In this sense, it is provided with a Accelerometer that provides swimming metrics and it has been designed to train both in the pool and in open water. Its water resistance reaches up to 50 meters and it is able to provide the swimming distance, the type and the number of strokes, in addition to the efficiency and the cadence.

Also, calculate the swolf score to help measure the effectiveness of the athlete in swimming and is able to record drills or start timed series without having to watch for a watch in the pool.

On land, unstoppable
When used outside of water, Forerunner® 920XT provides the vast majority of performance for which Garmin products are characterized, such as time, distance, pace and speed. Likewise, it integrates a barometric altimeter to obtain complete and accurate data on height, which also includes the ascent, descent and slope.

On the other hand, used with the monitor heart rate HRM-Run™ (in Pack or optional version), Garmin Forerunner® 920XT helps the user to improve the running technique, monitoring the cadence, vertical oscillation and contact time with the ground.

At the same time, includes the VO2 max system, which estimates the maximum oxygen volume (in milliliters) that can be consumed per minute and per kilogram of body weight in maximum yield. This indicator of aerobic capacity should increase as the physical condition improves.

To all the above, an integrated metronome is added, which marks the athlete, through vibrations and tones, the pace of strides to follow. And, also, it is provided with a benefit through which the device provides recommendations on the estimated time of recovery and rest after each training.

By bike, for all
When using Garmin Forerunner® 920XT on a bicycle, the user will have Accurate data about the slope and the cumulative difference. To these data there are many others, as long as it is combined with compatible sensors of speed, cadence, heart rate monitor or ANT ™ power sensors (Vector® or others).

For example, when used with the HRM-Run ™ heart rate monitor and a power sensor at the same time, it provides an estimate of the VO2 max or, what is the same, oxygen consumption, also on the bicycle.

Share everything in real time
Once the exercises are finished, it is possible synchronize and transfer the information to the orderlyUse a compatible smartphone via Garmin Connect or Garmin Connect Mobile. In this well-known online community the user can analyze their records and share their activities, routes and brands with other athletes.
