KIPRUN, the technical running brand of Decathlon, launches the market Cushion 500, a model designed for those who run for pleasure, for health, or as part of their preparation for long-distance events.
Designed for all types of runners—from beginners to those who have already put in the miles—this shoe offers Comfort, lightness and great value for money, positioning itself as a very solid option for daily training and long runs.
Improved comfort and energy return
The great technical innovation of the Cushion 500 is its MFOAM midsole, which provides a 9% more energy return than its predecessor (KS500.2) and a 7% softer feel.
This results in greater cushioning without sacrificing responsiveness. Ideal for running at paces between 4:30 and 6:00 min/km, covering a wide spectrum of long-distance runners.
In addition, its upper of circular knitting With internal padding, it guarantees a soft, breathable feel from the first kilometer. The weight is another strong point: 214 grams in women's size 38 and 264 grams in men's size 42, which helps reduce fatigue during long sessions.
A versatile shoe for any type of stride
The Cushion 500 is designed to accommodate both heel strikers and midfoot runners, offering stability and flexibility with every stride. This makes it a reliable ally even if you're not entirely sure of your stride technique.

Special training in Barcelona on June 18
To celebrate this launch, Decathlon Runners organizes a free training session Wednesday, June 18 in Barcelona, departing from Decathlon L'Illa at 19:15 p.m.
The activity will include running technique, hills and changes in pace, and will feature the presence of figures such as Angela Mármol y Archi Ted, who will share kilometers and motivation with the runner community.
