Spring is here and, with it, begin training for open water cruises. and from Decathlon they want to give you some tips so you can enjoy the sport as much as possible

That's why since Decathlon and its specialized section in swimming Nabaiji , give us these four tips and present us their new products for this season

Orientation:

An important factor that we must take into account when swimming in open water is that our orientation will be affected. It is recommended, each 10 or 12 strokes, raise your head forward.

How can we do it?

We can give 3 or 4 stronger strokes to get more propulsion, gain a wider field of vision and thus not lose the pace we had.

Position:

The position of our body is also very important, we must take it as horizontal as possible. We must prevent our feet from falling because, if we do, we would create greater resistance and we would have to make a greater effort.

Safety:

For our practice to be rewarding we can not forget about security. We recommend you always leave accompanied. If it is not possible, do not forget to take your signal buoy and also tell someone close to where you are going to train and how much time you are going to spend.

Placement:

When we compete in open water, at the start, we live a moment of agglomeration. For this reason, we advise placing ourselves strategically. We can position ourselves well in a central way and get out very strong or, perhaps, from more lateral way, and thus avoid hitting with other swimmers.
