New PoolMate2 from Swimovate, now also for open waters!

The UK manufacturer of watches Poolmate launches a new version of its best-selling model with a new feature for open water.

 

 

The new PoolMate2 In addition to all the functions to count and record the laps in the pool, it includes a mode for open water with which you can register your swimming sessions in the sea, lakes or rivers.

The open water mode works like a pedometer for swimmers, so you need to swim a first calibration section that the watch will use to calculate the data in the following open water sessions.

When using this system instead of a GPS, which has a large battery consumption and often problems to function properly in the water, according to the manufacturer it is achieved that the battery life is more than 2 years.

They have also used to redesign the clock, with a glass sphere and a larger and lighter screen to facilitate the reading of the data. Cataloged as a complete swimmer's watch, PoolMate2 offers you swimming data, including speed, distance, duration, stroke, calories and efficiency in pool and open water, plus a stopwatch mode for other activities.

PoolMate2 is available in 4 different colors (Black, Gray, Blue and Lilac) and has a recommended price of 99 €.
