Test Hoka Carbon X 3 shoes

The HOKA brand launched last May a remake of one of its star models, the HOKA Carbon X3, with which we have already seen triathletes of the stature of Emilio Aguayo (reference international triathlete in the medium and long distance) and in training at Eneko Llanos, among others.

This model has a series of news compared to the previous model, among which are lower weight and a design that makes it faster for transitions, which makes it one of the most complete carbon shoes on the market for running on asphalt.

A perfect neutral model for medium distance competitions where you get the best performance, or for fast or quality training.

Who is this shoe designed for?

This new update of HOKA's flagship model is recommended for all types of runners who want to compete in distances up to half marathon / half / 70.3

Thanks to its lightness and the quality of the materials they have, they make it a very fast shoe perfect for both training and competition, although we recommend using them more for competition.

What we highlight

At first glance, these shoes follow the sequel to their predecessors with a nice design that makes them very attractive.

They are also very light and comfortable as they fit perfectly from the first moment.

The Upper is built with a new fabric that improves the fit to the foot making it more comfortable and durable.

We must also talk about the carbon fiber that the shoes have in the midsole, and that makes them more reactive, favoring the runner's technique.

Another point that we liked is that it uses Meta-Rocket technology, the curvature it has on the sole and that it is more aggressive than other models.

This allows runners to have efficient technique, higher paces for more miles.

In terms of weight, they are 10 grams lighter than the X2 model, thanks to which the mesh upper has been updated, offering a better fit.

Our conclusion

The HOKA CARBON X 3 shoes are a perfect option for runners who are looking for quality, performance and speed in fast competitions, offering the best results in medium distance but also being a great option for 10K distances.

In addition, they are ideal for the triathlete, since they have a "sock" that allows us to put them on very quickly in transition.

As always, HOKA offers us shoes with a very attractive design, light and with great qualities in their materials that guarantee excellent performance.
