1.000 triathletes will participate in the OTSLO Challenge Salou — Marcos Cabrera/ Departure from Challenge Salou

Next Sunday, April 3, the 7th edition of the OTSO CHALLENGESALOU, one of the most outstanding international triathlon events on the Costa Daurada.

The test, of CHALLENGEFAMILY German Franchise, It will have a total of 1.000 participants who will swim 1,9 km, bike 85 km and run 21 km in the Middle Distance and Middle Distance Relay modalities; and 1,9 km swimming, 60 km cycling and 11 km running in the Short Distance mode.

The race will start on Sunday at 08:00 AM, anticipating the arrival of the first runner at 11:50 AM at the finish line located in the Plaza de las Comunidades Autónomas de Salou.

With a fast 3-lap cycling circuit and a foot race along the promenade, the race will not leave any participant indifferent.

Qualifying for The Championship and the PTO Ranking

It should be noted that the OTSO CHALLENGESALOU not only distributes 25.000 € in prizes, but it is also a quote qualifying for the World Cup (The Championship) to be held in Samorin, Slovakia, on May 22.

Furthermore, scoring for the PTO World Ranking, Challenge Family World Bonus, as well as the National Middle Distance Ranking of the Spanish Triathlon Federation (FETRI).

Activities all weekend

Beyond the middle distance triathlon, the OTSO CHALLENGESALOU presents a range of activities for families They can also live a unique experience and enjoy this sport.
