1.300 triathletes take part in the Santander Triathlon Series of Valencia

Yesterday, the Santander Triathlon Series of Valencia, where more than 1.300 athletes have participated in its various categories being the starting point and goal the Malvarrosa Beach.

 

Emilio Aguayo Muñoz wins the race in the individual Olympic category with a total time of 01:57:16 (00:21:50 in swimming, 00:56:44 in cycling and 00:34:38 ​​in athletics). The winner of the Sprint category was Diego Robles del Moral with a time of 01: 02: 40. 

In female category Inma Masia was the winner in the Olympic test (2: 22: 56) while Romane Cizeron (1: 21: 58) was the winner in the sprint test.

The first test has been swimming that has been played in Mediterranean waters, followed by cycling pedaled by Tarongers Avenue and Ronda Norte, and finally the race on foot has taken place on the promenade where the triathletes have crossed the line of goal.

The 123 dosal that is awarded to a person that symbolizes the constant struggle, effort and improvement, has been represented this edition by Juan Luis Escassi in Sprint mode run by the Luis Olivares Foundation, a foundation that focuses on emotional support and integral of families with children suffering from cancer, helping any type of social benefit they need to manage.

Banco Santander has also introduced the solidarity aspect in the Santander Triatlon Series and will support the solidarity work of FUNDELA - Spanish Foundation for the Promotion of Research on Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) - so that each participant who has registered in the circuit has been able to contribute a part of their registration to this cause
