More than 1.500 triathletes will take to the streets of A Coruña

The Spanish Triathlon Championships for Clubs and Mixed Relays, sixth and seventh and final days of the National League of Triathlon Clubs, as well as the Spanish Triathlon Championship for Mixed Talent Relay They will be held this weekend in the city of A Coruña.

The National League of Triathlon Talent Clubs 2022 of the Spanish Triathlon Federation will end in the two days of more than 1500 athletes from clubs from the 17 autonomous communities in the surroundings of Marina Parrote and the A Coruña promenade to the castle of San Anton.

National competitions

More than 1500 athletes will participate in the trials of the Spanish Triathlon Championships for Clubs and Mixed Relays, and Mixed Talent Relays, which will take place on Saturday and Sunday in A Coruña

They will represent more than one hundred club teams from the 17 autonomous communities, among which Madrid, Andalusia, Catalonia, the Valencian Community or Castilla y León provide the largest number of athletes along with Galicia.

The routes of the races will be 750 meters of swimming, 21 kilometers of cycling and 6 kms. of foot race.

On Sunday 19, at 12:45 p.m. The Spanish Triathlon Championships for Mixed Relays will begin, with successive starts for the Elite, Mixed, Talents and Open Talents categories, facing each relay post of 250 meters of swimming, 5 kilometers of cycling and 4 kilometers of foot race

The final awards ceremony, with the award ceremonies of the National League of Triathlon Clubs and the National League of Triathlon Talent Clubs, is scheduled for 14:30 p.m.

Paratriathlon World Cup

The Paratriathlon World Cup A Coruña 2022 will bring together almost a hundred world-class paratriathletes, representing 20 countries

The competitions will begin on Sunday at 9 a.m., with a 750-meter swim, a 20-kilometer bike ride and a 5-kilometer run. The awards ceremony is scheduled for 12 noon.

The Galician club Cidade de Lugo Fluvial aspires to win the Men's National Triathlon Club League and the Women's Iberdrola Triathlon League next weekend in A Coruña, after the previous days played in Roquetas de Mar and Águilas.

The team from Lugo leads the two First Division classifications before the last two days, which will take place with the dispute on Saturday June 18 of the Spanish Triathlon Championship for Clubs, and on Sunday 19 the final day with the Spanish Triathlon Championship for Mixed Relays.

Only 8 points separate Cidade de Lugo Fluvial from Galician Náutico de Narón in the dispute for the Iberdrola Triathlon League.
