The countdown begins for the 2021 MD and LD Triathlon Spanish Cup
The Cup kicks off on May 15 in Pamplona
The Spanish Cup of Medium Distance and Long Distance Triathlon 2021 will start in Navarra next Saturday, May 15 with the Half Triathlon Pamplona-Iruña
It will be the first competition of the Cup, and the second of the National Ranking of Medium and Long Distance Triathlon, opened last weekend with the Infinitri Half Triathlon Peñíscola for Medium Distance.
One month for the Spanish LD Championship in Platja D'Aro
Only fifteen days after the start of the Cup in Pamplona will arrive the Spanish Long Distance Triathlon Championship, in the TRADEINN 140.6 International Triathlon at Platja D'Aro on May 30.
In the list of participants there are already names like Judith Corachán, Saleta Castro, Merce Tusell, Alba Reguillo, Ivet Farriols, Gustavo Rodríguez, Emilio Aguayo, Gonzalo Fuentes Isasi, Jordi Montraveta, Juan Bautista Nadal, Peru Alfaro among others.
They have also confirmed Nick Castelein, regular training partner of Jan Frodeno; the French Romain Guillaume, or the Belgian Timothy Van Houtem
National Ranking Medium and Long Distance Triathlon
On April 15, the first scores of the new National Ranking of Medium and Long Distance Triathlon were added, based on the classifications of the Infinitri Half Triathlon Peñíscola de Media Distancia.
In this test, Jordi Montraveta prevailed in the men's category, and Chantal Cummings, the first being Spanish Cristina Roselló.
The next test with points for the Ranking is the Half Triathlon Banyoles, from Media Distancia, on Sunday, May 2.
El triXilxes Media Distancia in Castellón, Valencian Community, on May 9; the Ribadeo Triathlon Media Distancia, on May 15; and the Half Triathlon Madrid Media Distancia, on May 30.
