1.700 triathletes will participate in the final of the Iberdrola League and the National Triathlon Clubs League

This weekend, the city of Pontevedra will once again be the epicenter of Spanish triathlon with the celebration of the last days of the Iberdrola League and the National League of Triathlon Clubs.

A total of 1.700 triathletes from different clubs in Spain will compete in this outstanding sporting event that includes the Spanish Club Triathlon Championship and Mixed Relay Championship.

The official presentation of these championships took place in the Pontevedra City Council, with the presence of important figures such as Mayor Miguel Anxo Lores and Jorge García, Director of Competitions of the Spanish Triathlon Federation, who highlighted the intensity and high participation expected for this weekend.

Event Location and Routes

Buenos Aires Avenue will be the nerve center of the activities, encompassing the start, finish and transition areas.

The Club Triathlon participants will face a circuit that includes steps through the emblematic Puente de los Tirantes and areas adjacent to the University Campus.

As for the Mixed Relay events, these courses will offer additional challenges, with a route that promises to be both demanding and spectacular.

Featured Competitions and Schedules

The competitions will begin on Saturday with the Women's Third Division category at 11:00 a.m., followed by more races during the day.

Sunday will be reserved for the Spanish Mixed Relay Triathlon Championship, marking the closing of the competitions with great expectations about the final classifications.
