2 distances in the Triatlô Olímpic Son Bou
One of the most attractive tests on the island of Menorca will be held in the month of May
Next May 1, 2021, the second edition of the II OLYMPIC TRIATHLÔ SON BOU.
The test will have the nerve center in Son Bou, in the Alaior town, a small tourist area located on the south coast of Menorca.
Son Bou, has a long beach with crystal clear and shallow waters, Besides being close to the Prat de Son Bou nature reserve, it includes dunes, swamps and numerous species of birds.
All this together with the hospitality of the area makes Son Bou a place ideal to spend the weekend uniting sport and tourism.

The Triatlô Olímpic Son Bou will have this edition with two distances to offer triathletes more options.
New this year is the ideal Super Sprint distance to make your debut in this sport.
- Olympic triathlon: 1.500 m swimming, 41 km cycling, 10 km running
- Super Sprint Triathlon: 350 m swimming, 14 km cycling, 2,8 km running
The swimming will be held on the beach of Son Bou, in front of the basilica and the cycling segment will run on a 13,8-kilometer circuit along the road between Son Bou - Alaior.
To finish, the running race will be through El Prat and Son Bou beach, ending in an enclosure closed to the public, next to the Hotel Sol Milanos Pingüinos Son Bou.

The first 3 classified in the male and female elite category will have direct square for the Spanish Standard Triathlon Championship.
Open enrollment
The test already has open registrations for both the Olympic test and the supersprint. In addition, it has a relay competition option.
The Triathlô Olímpic Son Bou is organized by the Elitechip company and has the support of the Balearic Triathlon Federation (Fetrib) and the collaboration of the Alaior City Council and the sponsorship of the Foundation for the Promotion of Tourism in Menorca.
