El Gran Triathlon de Madrid returns one more year to convert the Casa de Campo at the perfect point for the dispute of our sport.
This event, one of the most important in the Spanish triathlon, opens its doors to federated and non-federated members, offering a wide range of distances and modalities so that everyone can enjoy the experience.
An event for everyone
The Great Madrid Triathlon is characterized by accommodating triathletes of all levels, from beginners to more experienced competitors.
Distances
- SUPER SPRINT: 300m swim, 10km cycle, 2.5km run
- INDIVIDUAL SPRINT: 750m swim, 20km cycle, 5km run
- SPRINT RELAYS: 750m swimming, 20km cycling, 5km running (team)
- STANDARD: 1.5km swimming, 40km cycling, 10km running
A spectacular tour
The Great Madrid Triathlon takes place in an incomparable environment: the Casa de Campo. Triathletes will enjoy a safe and marked route, passing through some of the most emblematic places of this Madrid park.
The swimming: The swimming tests will be held at the Lake of the Country House, whose crystal clear waters offer a perfect setting for this segment of the competition.
Cycling: The cycling segment will be developed by surroundings of the Casa de Campo, passing through Pozuelo, Aravaca, Húmera and returning to the park along the Carretera de Castilla.
A tour closed to traffic which will allow triathletes to enjoy the bike in complete safety.
The foot race: The foot race will take place entirely in the Casa de Campo, for practically flat route and close to the Central Area, making it easy for viewers to follow.
More than a sporting event
The Great Madrid Triathlon is much more than a simple sporting event.
