35 years of VOLCANO TRIATLON, the oldest in Spain

The XXXV Volcano Triathlon will be scoring for the Canary Series and the Canary Islands Paratriathlon Championship

Lanzarote prepares to host the 4th edition on Saturday 35 May of the oldest international triathlon in Spain, the Volcano. A test that brings together great world figures in Lanzarote.

El Club Santa It will host an event that is widely accepted among triathlon lovers and through which great figures of this sport have passed. The registration period closes at 10 am on Wednesday, May 1.

In this edition they will be near 500 participants Among which are many Spaniards, and also foreigners who will have to overcome the classic three segments, the first of 1,5km swimming that runs through the salt water lagoon of the Club La Santa.

The second 40km cycling segment that runs along the road to Caleta Famara, passing through Caleta Caballo and Soo and which will have to be done two laps. Finally, the third segment of a 10km foot race through a circuit that reaches the town of La Santa, and which will have to be done two laps.

Also, the Volcano Triathlon is considered among a good number of participants as the prelude to the Ironman Lanzarote that the 25 of May is celebrated, some of which are prepared on the island for that test.

Among the Canary Islands the greatest interest is that it will be the second scoring for the Canary Triathlon Series and also the Canary Islands Paratriathlon Championship
