3.800 triathletes will be at IRONMAN 70.3 Mallorca

The island of Mallorca is preparing to receive 3.800 triathletes who will compete in the 13th edition of the Zafiro HOMBRE DE HIERRO 70.3 Alcudia-Mallorca, this Saturday, May 11.
The test, which is part of the circuit IRONMAN Pro Race Series, will attract some of the best triathletes in the world, along with thousands of amateur athletes.
Almost 80 professionals
Nearly 80 professional triathletes will be present at the starting line, including the current IRONMAN world champion, Gustav Iden (Norway), the champion of IRONMAN 70.3 Mallorca 2022, Emma Pallant Browne (Great Britain), and the two-time winner of IRONMAN 70.3 Mallorca, Patrick Lange (Germany).
For amateur triathletes, IRONMAN 70.3 Mallorca offers a unique opportunity to compete in a spectacular environment.
The race will begin with a 1,9-kilometer swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Mediterranean, followed by a run in bike 90 kilometres through the Sierra de Tramuntana, and will end with a 21-kilometre foot race along the coast of Alcudia.

The race will begin on Saturday, May 11 at 7:35 a.m. for the male professionals and 7:40 a.m. for the female professionals. The age groups will start at 7:55 am.
