The main day will take place on June 2th, 2025 (although the official date announced is May 11, 2025 for the anniversary celebration, the program of activities extends over that period, with the highlight at the beginning of June).
Thus, each triathlete can choose the modality that best suits their level:
- Middle Distance (1,9 km – 80 km – 21 km)
- Individual: Ideal for those looking for an intermediate challenge.
- Relays: Perfect for those who prefer to divide the effort as a team.
- Short Distance (1,9 km – 54 km – 11 km)
- Individual: A shorter distance for those who are just starting out or want to try fast paces.
- Family Run (2 km race)
- For those who wish to enjoy a participatory event with the family, the Family Run from June 1, 2025 brings triathlon closer to all ages.
Thanks to the variety of routes, both experienced and beginner triathletes will find their place at Challenge Salou.
In addition, the unbeatable surroundings of the Costa Daurada and the pleasant climate of the region will be the perfect incentive.
Cash Prizes and International Ranking
One of the biggest attractions of Challenge Salou 2025 is the prize money for the PRO category of the Middle Distance.
They will be divided 19.000 € among the top six finishers (men and women), ensuring a high level of competition.
However, the big news comes from the end of season bonus de 140.000 € which will be distributed among the top ranked in the ranking of Challenge Family.
For men and women who reach the TOP 6 in this ranking, the rewards will be:
- 1st: €25.000
- 2st: €17.000
- 3st: €13.000
- 4st: €10.000
- 5st: €5.000
Points vary according to the final position in each Challenge Family race, counting the 6 best results of the season and allowing a maximum of 2 long distance events.

For the category Short DistanceThere is no prize money, but there are trophies for the first three places in the overall men's and women's classification, further motivation to fight for the lead on an explosive course.
Classification for The Championship
Age groups
In the Middle Distance, Challenge Family will award 6 slots the top 6 finishers in each age group (both male and female).
If one of them withdraws, the slot will be passed on to the next triathlete in the ranking until reaching the TOP 12 of the category.
PRO Category
For professionals, they are also granted 6 slots in Challenge Salou, although, if someone gives up, No. will be reassigned to the next person on the list.
Open
The registration for the 2025 edition are open with rates varying depending on the registration date.
For Middle Distance Individual, The price is 229 € in the months of January to March, and rises to 249 € in April and May. Meanwhile, the Short Distance slope 159 € from January to March and 169 € from April to May.
