7 Spaniards in the World Cup of Triathlon in Lausanne

This Saturday is the World Cup of Lausanne, in Switzerland, with the presence of seven Spanish triathletes in total, 2 men and 5 women 

The top-level triathlon returns to Switzerland with the dispute of the World Cup in Lausanne, venue next year of the WTS Grand Final.

In male category, it will be a WTS level test, with the presence of Kristian Blummenfelt y Jonathan Brownlee, who seek to add points for the final classification of the WTS, where you can also count up to 2 World Cups.

Two Spaniards on the start list, Uxío Abuín which part with the 3 number e Ignacio González In addition to them, they will also compete Anton Ruanova representing Brazil and Jesus Gomar with the selection of Georgia.

In the female category there will be up to five Spanish representatives: Anna Godoy, Sara Perez, Cecilia Santamaria, Miriam Casillas and Delioma González. The first four in search of points facing the Olympic ranking, in a favorable test for it, much more open than a WTS.

The undisputed favorite is Nicola Spirig who competes at home. Next to her, may be the young American Taylor Knibb, the Japanese Ide or the Austrian Perterer
