Challenge Madrid the next September 22 will be played, in a edition full of news with the circuit change and the new medium distance test.
With more than 1.000 registered triathletes and about to close inscriptions the edition of the 2019 will beat all the records of the test.
The test will be played on September 22 with departure in San Martín de Valdeiglesias (Western Sierra of the Community of Madrid), the town that for the second consecutive year will have the blue flag on the beach where the swimming sector will be played. It is the first indoor beach with blue flag of the Community of Madrid.
The 180 Km cycling segment will be developed by the Sierra West where the mountainous relief predominates that gives way to other lower areas through which the Alberche and Perales rivers flow. The variety of landscapes, as well as the relief and the vegetal species that can be observed, are very valuable since this region runs between the 500 and 1500 meters of altitude.
The walking race in the center will be 4 laps, which takes place mainly through the Main Street, La Cathedral of the Almudena, the Royal Palace Plaza of Spain, walk of Camoens and the Temple of Debod. In his final, on the last lap, the race on foot will enter the Puerta del Sol for his arrival at "Km 0", where the Meta will be located.
