Tomorrow the Islantilla Triathlon opens for Olympic distance and Half with reduced price

On October 17, the third edition of the well-known “Guadiana Triathlon” which for this 2020 moves to islantilla, a privileged place on the Huelva coast.

After conversations held during the last weeks with all the members and organizations involved in its management and implementation, the test opens this Saturday   registration.

To guarantee the athlete safety an exemplary deployment of for comply with the health protocol for conducting sports tests (COVID-19) of the Andalusian Government.

2 distances

For this edition the following distances will be disputed:

• HALF: 1900m swimming, 45km bicycle and 21km walking race.
• OLYMPIC: 1500m swimming, 21km bicycle and 10km walking race.

The circuits

Segment swimming will be done in the Atlantic sea, specifically on the beach of the fishermen's neighborhood in La Antilla.

For the MD the participants must complete a lap to reach the 1.900m, while the triathletes who perform the OLYMPIC will complete the 1.500m.

El cyclist segment For the Olympic distance, it will begin with a route that will take us to the entrance of Isla Cristina, previously passing through La Antilla, Islantilla and La Redondela where there will be two laps

For triathletes who perform the MD, this segment will be expanded in such a way that they will enter ISlantilla Golf Resort, taking the road to Lepe giving two laps to this circuit.

To finish, the foot race will pass through the most characteristic and emblematic areas of the beautiful Islantilla; from the promenade to the Islantilla Golf Club, being in total 10km for the Olympic participants y 21km for those who do the MD. 

The registration process open from Saturday, July 25

Registration can be formalized on the website www.byonsport.com From Saturday, July 25, 2020 until October 14, 2020 or until registrations run out with a maximum of 500 participants.
