Abu Dhabi, first stop of the 2015 ITU Triathlon World Series

The capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, will kick off this season the next 6 and 7 March, in its premiere on the circuit of the World Series.

 

 

The beginning of the ITU Triathlon World Series 2015, a new edition in which our best triathletes will turn again to offer their best level and be crowned champions of the world. A competition that will be developed along nine stages, together with the Grand Final of Chicago, and in which the Spanish figures stand out Javier Gómez Noya y Mario Mola, current champion and world runner-up.

The capital of the United Arab Emirates, Abu Dhabi, the next 6 and 7 March will kick off this season, in its premiere on the World Series circuit. An event that will feature a strong presence of Spanish triathletes who will seek to add important points for the ITU ranking, in their challenge to qualify for the Olympic Games. of Rio 2016.

After the premiere in Abu Dhabi, the World Series will move between the 28 and 29 from March to Auckland, located on the North Island of New Zealand. The third stop will take place two weeks later (11 and 12 of April) in Gold Coast, Australia. Subsequently, they will travel for the second year to Cape (Republic of South Africa) from 25 to 26 in April, and then land in Yokohama (Japan) in the middle of May (the days 16 and 17).

European appointments will follow, starting with London the 30 and 31 for May. After a brief break, the World Series will return in the German city of Hamburg between the 18 and 19 of July, to finally finish its tour of the Old Continent in Stockholm between the 22 and 23 of August. The final scale prior to the Grand Final will take place in the Canadian town of Edmonton from the 5 to the 6 in September, giving way to the city of Chicago (USA), which between the 15 and the 20 in September will be responsible for closing the circuit in this 2015 edition.
