Spain starts in London with 5 medals in the Paralympic Aquatlon

Acuatlón was the first event in the Grand Final of the Triathlon World Series

 

El Paralympic Aquathlon World Championship It was held this morning in London at the opening day of the Grand Final of the World Series.

 

 

 

Spain could not have started better, since our representatives have managed 5 medals in the different categories of which this discipline is composed.

In category TRI-2 Daniel Molina (which was silver in the edition of 2012) has been proclaimed world champion of the modality. Together with him, Ricardo Marín (Winner of the 2013 Madrid ITU Paratriathlon International Event) has been awarded the silver medal.

 

 in Category TRI-5, Miguel Á. Ubeda  (Spanish Triathlon champion) has obtained the silver medal, while his classmate, Valeriano Moreno (second in the Madrid World Championship 2011) achieved the fifth place.

 

They have been joined by the Paralympic medalist in Barcelona 1992 and Athens 2004, Daniel Llambrich, who along with your guide Jonathan Galán has been raised with the title in TRI-6b. In females, Galician Susana Rodríguez and your guide Mayalen Noriega (bronze at 2012 in Auckland) have taken the silver in women's TRI-6b, after an intense duel with the British.
