Triana is transformed into aquathlon

The fifth round of the Europa FM Circuit, closing registrations of around 400 registered among the different categories, it is worth highlighting the great popular participation and the increase in women in the V Acuatlón de la Velá de Triana.

 

Therefore, the expectations of participation are again covered, where of course, as every year we have been remembering our precious Íñigo Vallejo where he has recorded from the inside for the film that goes in his name and will be projected in all the cinemas. With the participation of an 43% outside of Seville, shops in the area have clearly been positively impacted.

The test of non-federated gave the kick-off to the 11h with the most numerous test in participants, since the triathlon in Seville is growing at an unstoppable pace and more and more are those who want to start in this sport, being Millán Herce Loraen masculine category who raised the goal tape and in feminine Noemí Delgado Ramírez.

In the federated category, the test began at 12h after giving our commemorative minute of silence to Íñigo Vallejo, accompanied by his family.

The race was led by the very young champion of Spain Duathlon Cros cadet last weekend in Almazán (Soria) Carlos González and Ezequiel Hernández of ADSevillaBikila in his first race segment on foot, being hunted by Manuel Cordero throughout the swim, leaving this way Carlos and Manuel heading the last segment of the race on foot. Finally it was Manuel Cordero from IsbilyaSloopyJoe's who crossed the finish line at 1º place, second the Sevillian Carlos González and third also the Sevillian Pedro Lumbreras from ADSevillaBikila, maintaining a very regular race at all times.

In the feminine category fededasla test was led from beginning to end by the Sevillian champion of Spain quadriathlon Ana Ruz Priego of ADSevillaBikila, with an absolute mastery of the test. Meanwhile, the second and third places were at stake. In second position, Maria Sánchez from CT Camaleón entered the water, but soon María Bustamante from IsbilyaSloopyJoe's and Pilar Aranda from Tri Marbella Bike would take the reins in the swimming sector, to finally be respectively second and third in the finish line at the Puente de Triana

Congratulations to all the participants who today have felt the streets of Triana and the Guadalquivir River as a holiday, sports, tourism and family, since the atmosphere has been of incredible luxury.
