triathlete Alba Reguillo, bronze medal in the LD 2016 Spain Championship and best Spanish in GGEE in Kona 2017, this weekend has been proclaimed Spain Snowrunning Champion in the Sierra Nevada.

The FEDME (Spanish Federation of Mountain Sports and Climbing) held the second edition of the Cto. of Spain of Snowrunning in Sierra Nevada last Saturday 3 in February, where the triathlete of La Mancha Alba Reguillo of the Saltoki-Trikidek has proved to be one of the most versatile athletes in Spain to become the new champion of Spain Snowrunning, a discipline that combines running on snow.

The route consisted of 12,7 km and a positive slope of almost 1000m. The race started in Padrollano at 2.100m altitude and climbed to almost 3000m to return to the Pradollano goal.

Alba Reguillo took the lead from the first moments, was increasing the difference with the rest of the riders especially in the hard climbing areas and did not leave that position to finish, although in the last kilometers Núria Dominguez he was on top of him in the downhill stages, practically reaching the finish line where Alba took the win to the sprint.
