Alcobendas hosts the start of the National League of Duathlon Clubs and the League of Triathlon Talent Clubs

A competition once again marked by safety protocols and which becomes the second appointment of the season for the athletes of the Spanish Triathlon Federation after the Spanish Duathlon Championship held in Avilés fifteen days ago.
The Ecosport Alcobendas Triathlon club and the services of the Alcobendas City Council, together with the FETRI staff, left the venue for the competition finalized on Friday, in which there was also collection of numbers.
Schedule
During the day of Saturday the Team Time Trial events will be held, with the first departure at 9 am. and the last one at 17:30 p.m.
After each category, the corresponding prizes will be awarded to avoid crowds and that the transit of duathletes is constant in circuits and start, finish and transition areas.
El Sunday will take place Relay events, with the first departure at 8 a.m., and the last at 14:06 p.m., and the distribution of the awards ceremonies will be the same.

One of the highlights of the competition over the weekend will be the paratriathlete's lineup Jairo Ruíz with his teammates from team A of the Alcobendas Ecosport Triathlon.
After entering the elite list in 2019 for the Spanish Sprint Triathlon Championship in Roquetas de Mar, the bronze medal at the Paralympic Games de Rio 2016 has made the news again this week and will fight with his teammates to leave the flag of the local club very high, which will also present a team entirely made up of paratriathletes, the hallmark of the Alcobendas Ecosport Triathlon.
The Green Flag flies in Alcobendas
In Alcobendas, the Green Sports Flag, a recognition with the support of the Higher Sports Council for events that meet demanding environmental requirements, and in venues that take care of values related to the environment.
The Alcobendas Duathlon is an example of this being an event rated as 0 plastic, without using this material in the signaling of circuits, and that has launched other initiatives related to sustainability, such as the use of recyclable containers for water in aid stations.
The flag, with the support of the Higher Sports Council, will fly the weekend of the Spanish Duathlon Time Trial Teams and Relays Championships, recognizing not only the sustainable vocation of the competition, but also the values of the city of Alcobendas itself, committed with nature and the environment.
