Alejandro Santamaría, the only Spanish major in the 70.3 Ironman Mallorca

This Saturday, May 12, one of the 70.3 events of the Ironman circuit will be held on the island of Mallorca. The Test will take place in the North of the Island. The Swimming will take place in the Port of Alcúdia area. The Cycling Race through the Serra de Tramuntana, with attractive ups and downs accompanied by long flat sections. The Foot Race will be three laps of a circuit in Alcúdia Beach, with the finish line at the Puerto Deportivo.
In this edition the competition will feature the always competitive German Michael Raelert, as well as many other good triathletes such as Stefan Vuckovis or the German Swen Sundberg.
Alejandro Santamaría comes to the island as the only Spanish PRO with many possibilities to do the Podium, arriving in an exceptional state of form and with the main objective of adding more points that will lead him to be in October in the Ironman World Championship in Hawaii .
It will also be a litmus test to prove himself, after several weeks of strong and hard training, for his next big appointment: Ironman of Brazil.
