The young British triathlete Alex Yee, participated this weekend in the European Cross Championship which has been held in Lisbon.
The Briton got the pass to the championship after being third in the qualifying tests in Liverpool last November 25.

The winner in its category (sub23) has been the French Jimmy Gressier with a time of 24:17, winning his third world title, the Serbian Elzan Bibic He was second with a time of 24:25 and third was the Spanish Abdessamad Oukhelfen with a time of 24: 34

A talent to keep in mind
The young triathlete, already has us accustomed to participating in this type of tests, last year he already did it in the 10 of the European and this same year he has run 5.000 meters in 13: 29: 18 getting your best mark in the distance.
His year in the WTS
In world series this year he was second in Abu Dhabi, fighting with Mario Mola until the end, where he spent a time of 14:07 to complete the 5 km of the foot race sector.
On Olympic distance (10 km of running race) Alex achieved the time in 29:58 finishing the best race time and in the fifth position of the WTS Yokohama
With all this he finished in 12th place in the ranking of the WTS 2019 and he will surely be fighting this year for the WTS and in the Tokyo Olympics.
