Alex Yee wins at the Abu Dhabi World Series
Roberto Sánchez Mantecón finishes in 7th position.
After the female test where Beth Potter has achieved victory the masculine test has been disputed where the young Alex Yee has taken the victory in this first round of the WTCS of 2023.
The British athlete has prevailed over sprint distance (750 meters of swimming, 20 km of cycling and 5 km of running) with a time of 00:52:53, closely followed by the Portuguese Basque Vilaca with a time of 00:52:59 and the Brazilian Manoel Messias with 00: 53: 06.
The test has been very exciting from the beginning, with several athletes fighting for victory.
However, Yee has managed to stand out in the final stages of the race and cross the finish line in first position. Vilaca put in a great performance to finish in second position, while Messias completed the podium in third position.
