Alex Yee wins at the Cagliari World Series

After the women's event where Georgia Taylor Brown has achieved the victory the men's test of the Triathlon World Series in Cagliari.

The test where some of the best triathletes in the specialty were present has not disappointed and has offered a show from start to finish.

First out of the water was Márk Dévay, closely followed by Riddle, Coninx, and Schoeman to 8 seconds. The group started very tight where the first Spaniard was Serrat in 38th position, 27 seconds behind the race leader.

Spanish was withdrawn in this segment Mario Mola.

In the cycling segment, a leading group was formed with 24 units with the main favorites with Yee, Bergere, Vilaca, Wilde, or Brownlee among others, but without any Spaniards.

In the middle of the segment, the leading group was almost 1 minute ahead of the chasing group where Blummenfelt Roberto Sánchez, Antonio Serrat, Genis Grau

Finally, the leading group led by Lehmann reached T2 with a 1:08 lead over the chasing group.

Going through the first lap, Alex Yee led the race followed by Wilde, Schomburg, Le Corre and Bergere, leading the group that was already breaking up by 11 seconds.

Little by little Yee and Wilde left the rest of the group behind, going solo and going through the second lap with 16 seconds over Le Corre.

On the last lap Yee and Wilde were still in the lead with a 28 second advantage over Bergere, Coninx and Le Corre.

In the last part of the segment Alex Yee launched an attack to solo the finish line with a time of 1:36:28 followed by 5 seconds per Hayden Wilde (1: 36: 33) and in third position by Leo Bergere (01: 37: 04).

Spanish Participation

As for the Spanish Roberto Sánchez he finished in 19th position with a time of 1:38:38, just 2 minutes and 11 seconds behind the leader.

Genis Grau closely followed in 20th position, and  Antonio Serrat completed the Spanish participation, finishing in 24th position.
