Almagro and Burgos triumph in the Pálmaces Triathlon

Pálmaces de Jadraque once again became the epicenter of the national triathlon last Saturday with the popular Pálmaces Triathlon, in which more than 200 participants gathered. Finally, the great protagonists were José Almagro and Ana Burgos, who were proclaimed champions of the male and female categories, respectively.

For his part, the runner of the Run2Chema Triathlon, was awarded the victory after completing the route in a time of 2 hours, 47 minutes and 13 seconds. Álvaro Velázquez, from Lagunak Navarra, was second with a time of 2 hours, 49 minutes and 4 seconds; while Jaime Menéndez, from the A6 Majadahonda Triathlon, was third with 2 hours, 50 minutes and 25 seconds.

Meanwhile, Ana Burgos, also from the Run2Chema Triathlon, won the women's quadrant with a time of 3 hours and 19 seconds. Ruth Gómez, from the A6 Majadahonda Triathlon, was second with a time of 3 hours, 12 minutes and 11 seconds; and Yolanda Santos, from the Guadalajara Triathlon, occupied third position upon reaching the finish line after 3 hours, 23 minutes and 42 seconds.

Finally, the Guadalajara Triathlon Club was the great dominant of the team categories by winning the men's quadrant ahead of the Albacete Triathlon, second; and the A6 Majadahonda Triathlon, third; and do the same in the women's quadrant, beating AL Layrac Triathlon 47, second.
