AN IRON WILL': A different IRONMAN docuseries about the Pros
IRONMAN has launched the first season of AN IRON WILL, a docuseries that gives us unprecedented access to the lives of some of the world's best triathletes as they prepare for the IRONMAN 2024 World Championship.
This production promises to capture the attention of triathlon fans around the world, exploring not only the physical demands of the sport, but also the mental challenges faced by competitors in their quest for global glory.
The series, which is now available on the official channel of HOMBRE DE HIERRO on YouTube, in OutsideTV y DAZN, has five episodes that closely follow elite triathletes such as Chelsea Sodaro, Cameron Wurf, Daniela Ryf, Kat matthews y Sam Laidlow.

AN IRON WILL offers a never-before-seen perspective on top-level triathlon, showcasing the effort and determination required to succeed in one of the world’s most demanding sports.
The series explores the internal and external struggles of these athletes, challenging their own physical and mental limits to achieve their goals.
Episode 1: Chelsea Sodaro
Chelsea Sodaro is the protagonist of the first episode. The American athlete surprised the triathlon world by winning the 2022 IRONMAN VinFast World Championship in his debut.
However, victory came with enormous pressure, and the series sees Sodaro deal with the expectations of defending his world title in 2023, while grappling with the personal difficulties that have arisen in the wake of his triumph.
Episode 2: Cameron Wurf
In the second episode, we meet the versatile Australian Cameron Wurf, a former Olympic rower and professional cyclist who has become one of IRONMAN's most charismatic competitors.
Episode 3: Daniela Ryf
The third episode is dedicated to Switzerland Daniela Ryf, one of the best triathletes of the modern era, with 10 world titles between the IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 series.
After losing the world title in 2022, Ryf returns hungry to regain his crown, also sharing little-known aspects of his personal life.
Episode 4: Kat matthews
In the fourth chapter, we follow the inspiring story of the British Kat matthews, who, after surviving a serious accident during training in 2022, is fighting to return to the top of world triathlon.
Her military mentality and tenacity make her an example of resistance and personal improvement.
Episode 5: Sam Laidlow,
Finally, the fifth episode introduces us to the French Sam Laidlow, who achieved an impressive second place in the IRONMAN 2022 World Championship.
The series follows its build-up to the 2023 edition, where it competes on home soil in the south of France, facing enormous pressure to prove that its previous success was no fluke.
