Andalusia Desafío Doñana 2024 opens registration

This year comes with new things on the circuits

This year 2024 the fifteenth edition of the Andalucía Doñana Challenge will be held on Saturday October 5 in the town of Sanlúcar de Barrameda.

This competition, organized by the Public Company for the Management of Tourism and Sport of Andalusia, is one of the most different and anticipated events of the calendar at the national level.

Open enrollment

From today, Thursday, June 13, starting at 10:30 in the morning, The registration period will open to participate in this emblematic test.

Those interested can register through the Andalusian Triathlon Federation website.

The registration period will end at 23:59 p.m. from September 20 or until reaching the number maximum number of participants allowed, which in this edition will be 375 athletes.

In addition, the organization reserves a quota of 25 registrations for discretionary use.

What's new for this edition

This year, the Andalucía Desafío Doñana presents several new features in its route and registration prices.

Until July 31, prices will be €100 for federated members and €120 for non-federated members. Starting August 1, the cost will increase to €120 for federated members and €140 for non-federated members.

Courses

Regarding the route, changes have been introduced for this edition.

El cycling segment now reaches 111,4 km, a considerable increase compared to the 88 km of the previous edition.

The segment of swimming remains at 1,4 km, while the segment of Running has increased from 21 to 25 km.

The Andalucía Desafío Doñana is known for its unique route that combines cycling, swimming and running in a different order than the traditional one.

Participants will have the opportunity to compete in an environment of great beauty and ecological sensitivity, touring the mouth of the Guadalquivir and the Doñana National Park, one of the most emblematic natural spaces in Spain.
