Anne Haug will be at Challenge Roth

Anne Haug, the renowned German triathlete, has announced her participation in the DATEV Challenge Roth, which will be held this coming Sunday, July 7.

The 41-year-old triathlete, who has won this competition twice, confirmed her last-minute participation. “Roth is my home race, so I'm really excited to get back to enjoying the incredible atmosphere, which I hope will help me reach my peak performance once again“Haug commented.

"My participation has been quite improvised, but plans often change during the season. When I saw photos of the race in Roth a few weeks ago, I knew I couldn't miss it this year".

In his first long-distance race of the year, Haug proved to be in excellent shape by win the Club La Santa IRONMAN Lanzarote in May, where she broke the course record set in 1995 by nearly 20 minutes, edging out her competitors by more than 40 minutes.
