Anne Haug and Sam Laidlow win the Mogán Challenge in Gran Canaria

Antonio Benito finishes in fourth position.

Anne Haug y Sam Laidlow have proven their quality in the Anfi Challenge Mogán-Gran Canaria, celebrated today.

In the men's competition, Sam Laidlow prevailed in a tight finish with a time of 3:40:27, followed by Mathis Margier in second place with 3:40:40 and with Aaron Royle (3:41:40) occupying the final third place with a difference of exactly one minute.

The Spanish Antonio Benito finished in fourth position with a time of 3:42:40

Laidlow, who suffered from cramps while swimming and cycling, highlighted the tough run he has had against Mathis Margirier, whom he has competed with since he was young.

For its part, Anne Haug won the women's category with a time of 4:05:38, followed by Diede diederiks second with 4:17:52 and megan mcdonald in third position with 4: 18: 34.

Haug commented on the difficulty of the cycling segment route and praised the atmosphere during the foot race, which ran along the beach and with the support of the public.
