Antonio Benito and Sara Alemany win the Santander City Triathlon
This weekend a new edition of the Santander City Triathlon where hundreds of athletes have enjoyed our sport.
The test that was disputed on Olympic distance (1,5-41,3-10,1) in a fast and very nice circuit for the participants.
In the men's category the victory went to Antonio Benito with a time of 1: 47: 42 followed by Diego Mentrida (1: 53: 02) and for Miguel Risco (1: 53: 54).
In the women's event Sara alemany took the victory with a time of 2: 12: 39 followed by Lucia Blanco (2: 19: 27) and for Aitziber Urkiola (2: 20: 50) occupying the third position.
The participants were able to enjoy the post-race party with a community paella and raffle of various products of the race sponsors.

solidarity commitment
The Santander City Triathlon is more than just a competition, as it contributes its grain of sand with a charitable part.
A percentage of the registrations have been allocated to social organizations such as the Association Against Cancer, the Down Syndrome Foundation and Looking for Smiles.
