Antonio Serrat, Roberto Sánchez and Camila Alonso in the Top 10 of the European Championship Sub23

The Spaniards have had a good performance getting 3 positions among the best 10 of the Championship

Today, the Triathlon European Championship of Sub23 has been held in the Hungarian city of Velence in sprint distance, where in the last two editions the Spanish title was won David Castro, absent in this edition.

The women's test started at 15: 00 where Camila Alonso has finished in tenth place, Inés Santiago eleventh, Carmen Gómez in the 17ª plaza and Cecilia Santamaría in the 22 position.

The victory has been for the British Georgia Taylor with a time of 1: 01: 55 followed by the Hungarian Bragmayer Zsanett (1: 02: 14) and the British Sian Rainsley (1:02:42).

The men's event started at 17: 00 where the Spaniards have completed a good performance with the fifth place of Antonio Serrat, the sixth of Roberto Sánchez  and the 22º of Antonio Benito.

The victory has been for the Hungarian Bicsák Bence with a time of 55: 54, followed by the Swiss  Sylvain Fridelance (56: 18) and the Hungarian Dévay Márk (56: 29) occupying the third final place.
