Marina Muñoz and Kevin Tarek Viñuela double winning the Spanish Cros Aquathlon and Triathlon Championship in Almazán

This past weekend, Marina Muñoz y Kevin Tarek Viñuela They achieved victory yesterday in the Spanish Cros Triathlon Championship.

This victory is added to their achievements in the national Aquathlon, also held during this intense sports weekend.

The event had the participation of 1.750 athletes, who competed in three championships: Cros Duathlon, Cros Aquathlon and Triathlon.

The victories of Marina Muñoz, from the Deporama Triathlon Soriano, and Kevin Tarek Viñuela González, from the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, stood out among all the competitions.

Yesterday, Marina Muñoz He managed to win the Spanish Cros Triathlon Championship with a time of 1h30:52. His performance was outstanding, considering the fatigue accumulated after his participation in the National Aquathlon the previous day.

Muñoz managed his advantage during the foot race, overtaking Martha Bourbon, from Stadium Casablanca Mapei, for more than a minute. Third place went to Elsa Pena, from Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, who arrived six minutes behind the winner.

In the Junior women's category, the champion was Lucia Piñón, from Náutico de Narón. In the Youth category, he won Maria Tenorio, from Squali Carabanchel, and in the Cadet category, the title went to Maria Romero, also from Squali Carabanchel.

In the elite men's category, Kevin Tarek Viñuela He dominated the test, recording a time of 1h18:56.

Viñuela felt at home in Almazán, without giving his rivals a chance. His teammate in the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, José Ignacio Gálvez, was second with a time of 1h20:34, followed by Jesus Jiménez, from CEA Bétera, who finished in 1h21:06.

In the Junior men's category, the champion was Eneko de Castro, by Diablillos de Rivas. In the youth race, he won Samuel Fernandez, from the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, and in the cadet, Daniel Castro, Capex.

Spanish Cros Paralympic Triathlon Championship

On the same day the Spanish Cros Paralympic Triathlon Championship was held. The winners were Ricardo Marín, from Murcia Unidata, in PTS2; Marc Rodriguez, from TGCBINN, in PTS4; Josefina Guimarey, from Ecosport Alcobendas, and Miguel Ángel Ubeda, from Galosport, in PTSV; and Alejandro Meneses, from Tenerife – I reactivated Physiotherapy – In side logistics, at PTSVII.
