The second round of the Virtual Giro d'Italia hosted by BKOOL kicks off
El Giro d'Italia Virtual, Organized by RCS Sport and BKOOL, it offers the opportunity to any cycling fan to experience all the emotion and magic of the real Corsa Rosa stages.
After its kick-off in October 2021, the event has brought together cyclists from more than 30 different countries, virtually transporting them to the real routes of the Giro d'Italia through a new simulation technology that combines HD video with 3D.
The experience also connects amateur cyclists with true stars of this sport.
During the first months of the event, professionals of the stature of Chris Froome, Sergio Higuita, Óscar Freire or the riders of the Quick-Step Alpha Vynil team, have participated in its stages, sharing training sessions with hundreds of fans from all over the world.

El Giro d'Italia Virtual hosted by BKOOL It is made up of three major rounds, which run from October 2021 to May 2022.
Once the first round is over, registrations for the second block are now open,
Grande Partenza – Part 2 (from January 17 to April 3), which includes new exclusive routes with real videos of the stages of the last edition of the Giro, as well as an attractive list of prizes for its final draws.
After him will come the Grande Arrivo (May 6-29), the last round of the event.
The stages chosen for the recently started Grande Partenza – Part 2 are the following:
- Torino TISSOT ITT: 8,3km / 14m+.
- Ravenna – Verona: 30 km / 96 m+.
- Perugia – Motalcino: 25 km / 540 m+.
- Mount Rest: 11 km / 626 m+.
- Milano TISSOT ITT: 25 km / 13 m+.
As in Grande Partenza – Part 1, participation in the second group of stages will also be rewarded with points to qualify for great prizes.
Among the gifts that will be raffled, several VIP experiences at next year's Giro d'Italia, as well as Il Lombardia.
Participants will also be able to win top cycling gear, official Giro d'Italia jerseys and merchandising or BKOOL Premium coupons.
In this new round, the names of guests such as Froome, Higuita or the Quick-Step Alpha Vynil team are joined by Alberto Contador and his professional team, the EOLO Kometa.
