European Cups calendar: Spain will host two events

Madrid and Melilla will host a European Cup of Triathlon

The European Triathlon Federation (ETU) has just presented the calendar of European Cups of Triathlon for the 2016 season. A year in which two venues that combine experience and enthusiasm return to Spain: Madrid y Melilla.

After the meeting of the Executive Committee of the ETU held last weekend in Nice, the European Federation has outlined the timetable for 2016, which will start in April and run through mid-October.

To open your mouth, Melilla continues with its firm commitment in the organization of sport events of maximum caliber, with a special interest in triathlon. After the successful premiere at 2015, the European Cup will again disembark in the Autonomous City at the beginning of April, with two competitions that will take place on the 10 day, both in junior and elite categories.

Meanwhile, Madrid will again join a high-flying test during the month of May. The best continental triathlon will return to the Spanish capital the 7 weekend and 8 to offer another year, a unique event that will bring together the best European triathletes in one of the most emblematic venues of international triathlon.

The European circuit 2016 will visit 14 countries for a tour that will go into Lithuania, Holland, Austria, Estonia, Hungary, Croatia, Latvia, Turkey, Czech Republic, Sweden, Norway, Romania, Slovenia and Spain. The triathletes will be adding points for the final of the European Cup.
