FETRI National Medium and Long Distance Triathlon Calendar 2025

Triathlon in Spain continues to grow, and 2025 promises to be a year full of emotions and challenges.

La Spanish Federation of Triathlon (FETRI) has announced the advancement of the calendar of the National Ranking of Medium and Long Distance Triathlon for next year, offering a range of events for triathletes of all levels.

From beginners looking for their first big challenge to seasoned athletes aiming for the top, the 2025 calendar has something for everyone.

A calendar for all levels

The main novelty this year is the structuring the ranking into three scoring levels, taking into account technical criteria and suggestions from clubs and athletes.

This segmentation allows for greater equity in competition and makes it easier for triathletes to choose events that suit their goals and abilities.

Spanish Championships: The pinnacle of the competition

The tests that award the maximum score (2.000 points) are, without a doubt, the highlights of the calendar:

• Spanish LD Triathlon Championship at the Epic Triathlon in Oropesa (May 24): A major challenge for long distance lovers.
• Spanish MD Triathlon Championship in Ibiza (date to be confirmed): The white island will host a middle-distance competition that promises to be unforgettable.

These championships represent the perfect opportunity to test the limits and compete for the national title.

IRONMAN and Challenge events: International challenges at home

The second level of scoring (1.500 points) is reserved for internationally renowned competitions held in our country:
