The IRONMAN Spain Calendar for 2025

In the year 2025 the franchise HOMBRE DE HIERRO is once again betting heavily on Spain with five major events in the calendarIncluding IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in Marbella.

IRONMAN 70.3 Valencia: April 27

The first test of the IRONMAN 2025 calendar in Spain will be the IRONMAN 70.3 Valencia, which will be held on April 27.

The race begins with a swimming segment in the crystal-clear bay of Alcudia, followed by a cycling route that combines flat stretches and mountain climbs, offering triathletes an experience that is as demanding as it is spectacular.

The running segment runs along the seafront, providing an idyllic view of the sea and allowing participants to feel the energy of local and visiting spectators, who line the streets to cheer on the athletes.

Club La Santa IRONMAN Lanzarote: May 17

On May 17, the La Santa Club IRONMAN Lanzarote will challenge the bravest with one of the most demanding triathlons in the world.

Lanzarote is known for its volcanic terrain, strong winds and tough cycling circuit, which includes numerous climbs surrounded by breathtaking desert landscapes.

The event involves swimming in the waters of Playa Grande, in Puerto del Carmen, followed by a challenging cycling route and culminating in a marathon.

IRONMAN Vitoria-Gasteiz: July 13

El IRONMAN Vitoria-Gasteiz will be held on July 13, and will once again be one of the most attractive events on the calendar.

With a unique atmosphere that combines nature and historical heritage, the event begins at the Ullibarri-Gamboa reservoir, offering a swimming segment surrounded by an exceptional natural landscape.

The cycling segment runs through the Llanada Alavesa, while the running race enters the urban centre of Vitoria, finishing in the majestic Plaza de España.

This test gained prominence in 2024 thanks to the spectacular victory of Antonio Benito and the controversy that surrounded Sam Laidlow and his disqualification, which put his ticket to Kona at risk.

IRONMAN Calella – Barcelona: October 5

On October 5, IRONMAN Calella – Barcelona will offer triathletes the opportunity to compete in a fast environment.
